This year has flown by! I cannot believe Christmas is a mere 25 days away. The last few days have been hectic, but between school, blogging, and relaxing with the fam, we’ve managed to get a lot accomplished.
The Christmas tree is up and decorated.

The gifts are bought and wrapped. We even have a Christmas train this year, thanks to a great yard sale find over the summer.

The stockings are hung, with one notable exception.

I’m working on Boo’s.

Advent calendars are ready to go. Yes, we have three, and yes, they are all filled with chocolate. Grandma spoils the kids with these calendars every year.

Our Christmas devotional story is on the breakfast counter, waiting to be read after breakfast in the morning. We’ve already read Jotham’s Journey and Bartholomew’s Passage, and the kids loved both stories. It’s time to tackle Tabitha’s Travels this year, and then we’ll start over.

Various Christmas books are set out on the coffee table to inspire extra reading. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a family favorite!

And 24 Christmas storybooks are wrapped up, ready to be unwrapped and read, one at a time, until Christmas Eve.

Bring on December!
