This week Stargirl and I headed off to the library to stock up on books covering American History. We already had some basic history books on hand, as well as a copy of America, The Story of Us on DVD. What we needed were some fun, easy to understand books that make the study of American History interesting and fun for all ages.
We were not disappointed in what we found.
We will learn about the American Revolution.

The Declaration of Independence.

The U.S. Constitution.

The Star Spangled Banner.

And, since this is an election year, we will learn how the President is elected.

Where, besides the library, can you find such an array of fun books, completely free of charge? Library, how I love thee! Bring on American History!
